    need assistance with FMIC install!!!!

    hey guys! i was just wondering have any of you install a Front Mount Intercooler in your mk4's cause i'm stuck on how to mount the intercooler and where.

    this is the kit that i have


    everything is made for the mk4 but when i took off my bumper it had me stuck for answers!

    any suggestions please?

    Where's the kit from, do they not provide instructions?

    Have you got a picture of it installed in a car? Looks like the pipes might come off the turbo and go above the gearbox. Then behind the headlight near the battery.

    The FMIC on my A3 was like this.

    here are some more pictures:

    this picture here has a different intercooler but the piping is the same, i just dont know how to mount the intercooler on and where to.


    i know this pipe is going towards the turbo. dont know the details and extras


    any help would be much appreciated.

    Similar idea to my A3. Pictures sent. I reckon a trip to Bunnings for some aluminium bar and stainless bolts would be the way to go. You can see in that album how mine was mounted. You'll be able to do somethiung similar no doubt.

    i dont want to cut the front bar. its mean to me lil modding to get it to fit.

    I reckon yours is shallow enough to fit under the bumper without cutting. I wasn't bothered about that and wanted the biggest IC that could go in.

    The aluminium is just to make brackets from.
