Hi Folks,
After getting the timing belt done, my wife's little Mk4 Golf hasnt been the same. Fortunately I have a Ross-Tech cable so hooked it up and found the following:

17834 - EVAP Purge Valve (N80)
P1426 - 35-00 - Open Circuit
Readiness: 0000 0000
So, I've found the O2 sensor, not sure what "No Activity" means, but I presume this is a replacement job.
The piece I'm foggy on is the N80 purge valve, where is this ? ... open circut to me sounds like its just not plugged in.
Any tips where to look ? any chance there's a DIY or how-to ?
So, as an update, I found the N80, the plug wasnt sitting on properly and found a heap of rubber goo inside the connector ?!
After cleaning it up, the connector was not damaged at all, and I simply plugged it in.
After clearing the codes, drove the car around for a bit and it looks like that one is clear, but the O2 has come back. So I'm phoning around now looking for a part.
