n75 wiring problem

Basically the wiring running to my n75 valve has broken. Which normally i guess you would just splice back on. Problem i have is, it has actually broken off inside the clip. Here is a pic

Any ideas on how i can connect it again? I can't figure out how to pull the connection apart either.
Also, would this be the cause of my car not boosting very hard?

any help would be great!

N75 valve is used by the ECU to control the wastegate actuator

This not working would make the car sluggish.

The plug looks molded at the wiring end. Take a pic of the other side of the plug for me - i might have one for you with some longer wire.

With the N75 not working, you are running off the actuator alone which would be set at about 7PSI of boost.

If you look in the front of that connector you will see the pins. If you poke a jewellers screwdriver or something like that down the gap. You should be able to push the pin out the back. Then you can get a wire on it again.

VWP - connector housings this where I used to get bits from in the UK.

You could nip to a wreckers though and cut a connector of an injector loom or something and splice it into your wiring. Getting the wires the right way round might be important to the N75, so be prepared to connect it temporarily first and go for a drive before doing the final job.

thats what it looks like, so you reckon if i push those metal bits hard enough, it should come out the other side?

You need to push a screwdriver( maybe 2) or something flat down the slot. This folds a tab out of the way and releases the terminal.

a bit of a shameless 'plug' (excuse the pun) for my thread; have a look about half way down the page and you will see a photo of some speaker electrical pins. i'm pretty sure your pins will look like that once removed. in fact if you damage them i can probably flick you a couple in the mail, i'm pretty sure i didn't use them all but will have to check.
