I've considered running the n75 and mbc in parallel...

Shortening the rod should not be opening the wastegate, it should be pulling it closed harder. Preventing gas bypass and providing more drive to the hot wheel.

You should have more thread showing at the end of the rod.

I am away from home now or I'd take some pictures for you.

Yes, more rod showing, nuts moved from drivers to passenger side.

servicing my car yesterday i decided just for the hell of it to wind the nuts even further on the WG actuator, even though i had done at least 10 turns with 0 change.

Its now boosting to 10psi, holding for a second, then continuing onto 16 psi quite happily. Out on the open road in 3rd and 4th, I'm hitting 19 psi as the tune was supposed to.

For the actuator rod to be so close to the end, its basically stuffed. I have a forge replacement, so thats my next job. Really strange how it was making no difference the whole time i was adjusting it...

    I can smile again.

Whilst servicing, i noticed a bit of carbon build up and a tiny bit of oil in the spark plugs, so i'll be doing a rocker gasket / coilpack gasket swap with my mate, and whilst at it doing the cam guide thing... Is there anything else you should be doing whilst on this job?

Out of curiosity, did you install the forge actuator and it solved your problems? I noticed you had it for sale a while back, so was unsure if you ended up installing it.
