cheers guys, I've got an unhealthy obsession with Work Meister S1's, between my skyline and golf I've got 6 pairs of varying offsets and widths... and now PCD's.

Finalised order to ECS just then:

Front Suspension Refresh Kit - Stage 3 (lol @ americans and their "stage" concept)

TT Short Shift Kit - With Shifter Cable End

Complete air ride system with AutoPilot Digital air management system

ECS Adjustable Sway Bar End Link Set

ECS Ultimate 2.0L Timing Belt Kit

ECS Urethane Rear Coil Spring Isolators (not sure if I'll need this, but wasn't gonna worry about it at $15)

w00t. there goes half of my tax return

That's a hell of an order - good time to place it with the AUS $ where it is at the moment too! I'm looking at grabbing an ECS Front Suspension Refresh stage 2 kit while the dollar is good.

lol first time I'm gonna be doing a major service on any euro car. should be fun when all the bits get here. hopefully it doesn't end up spending as much time on the hoist as the skyline.

also, gonna be a marathon effort to have it all finished before DOVW. All depends on shipping time now I guess.

I'd say you've got till the start of next week. I doubt we'll crack the $0.98 mark.

Ahh this thread is awesome! I've got myself a 1.8 GLE in Black! I now have some motivation to spruce it up! Excellent, would love to see some pictures of the R32 kit after its done!

oh wow, big $$ being spent!
The rear spring mounts i found were good. car felt a little softer while more 'together' if you like.

sweet. It just dawned on me while I was looking into suspension that the car is almost 10 years old, so the rubbers must be worn as hell by now, and nothing in the log books indicate that they were ever maintained by the previous owner.

Unless you specifically need the lower control arms (that's where the stage 3 kit differs mostly from the stage 2 kit), I'd stick with stage 2. In fact, the stage 3 kit misses out on something important - the TT/R32 lower control arm rear bushes!

Financial analysts are saying we'll be at about 97c for the rest of this year, but likely to crack parity by mid-next year - maybe as high as $1.05.

Regardless - with the exchange rate as good as it is, you'd be crazy to wait in the hope that it got better. Jump in!
