just as a quick aside... how would I go about finding the paint mix for Rising Blue Metallic (LR5Z-4C). I know with Nissans we have a Dupont paint mix guide. Is there something similar that VW uses?

I checked that before... Rising Blue Metallic isn't in that list

from what I gathered from reading the German Audi and UK Scirocco forums is that its code is "LR5Z" and the internal code is "4C". Might give VW a buzz tomorrow and see if they can get me some of it or at least a paint chip so I can run it under a paint analyser.

cheers guys, I've got an unhealthy obsession with Work Meister S1's, between my skyline and golf I've got 6 pairs of varying offsets and widths... and now PCD's.
