slimmer hatch? I'm shaving the boot of emblems and handles, but don't wanna lose visibility out the back in the rain or after dust by doing a full wiper delete, so the polo wiper swap seemed like a good intermediate solution.

I did balls up a couple of things, like the position of the wiper (should be a bit higher rather than parallel with the window edge) and I scored the cap all the way leaving a small mark (will have to buff that out). But overall I'm happy with the mod.

Stupid Bora doesn't even have a rear wiper. Its the only think I miss from my Golf.

I'll have to start a thread here.

filled in the rear bumper by plastic welding it. mmmmm butter smooooooooooth! Also flared the wheel arch lip so that it blends into the metalwork I'll be doing.

Front bumper's next, filling in the emblem notch and flaring the wheel arch lip.

Holy crap, you're a handy little bugger Shan. This all happening in Sydney or Melb?

Melb broseph, moved back from brissy about 18 months ago. Goin balls out on the aesthetics of the Golf... to offset the battered look the GTR sported thanks to Porsche drivers giving me lovetaps in the sprints.

Hairy thing is Chewbacca my dog! Needs a haircut tho.

You can see it at the Skyline Nationals well, unless I bring the 240z.

Finally got around to doing some more work on the bumpers etc... Haven't had much time between trying to shoehorn a 350 chev engine into the 240Z and work sending me overseas for a couple of weeks.

Flared out the lip to blend in with the guards that are getting rolled out, and filled in the notch to suit the FK emblem-less grille. Also smoothed out some irregularities on the surface.

whoops, the only decent front on shot and I focussed on the pot plants
