The stance is much better. With the springs I had in prior, the nose sat down to far. I discovered that was because they were meant for a 1.6. The car is sitting level again now, I dropped the rear another 2 cms, and raised the front by 1. I've got the exact figures written down, I'll post them up once I get back home.
Just did the drive to work and I think it's the first time I've walked into the office in a long while with a huge grin on my face. I need to go find myself a nice mountain with loads of twists and bends...
i remember the day i picked up my VR6 after getting the coilovers installed. Had a huuuuge grin on my face all day until i almost got airborn after driving over a big hump in the road a bit too fast .
Oh god no! - that was just a shot when we were fitting them.
Ride height with springs and half tank of petrol (mm from base of wheel to top of arch):

How did you guys end up goin with the top nut neil?
We ran into a prob when fitting them trying to tighten the top nut as the shaft would just spin. Aparently with the V3's, once you load them up it's enough to hold it in place but not so with the V2's. To over come this we took you advice and use an extra long socket with a rattle gun so we didn't damage the adjuster thing on top. Did the trick perfectly. Thanks again for the tip
No probs man! Thats the only way it can really be done. I didnt go spastic with the impact gun. Just enough that it wouldnt come undone and it hasnt yet to this date.
