Yeah yeah yeah. I'll get shots soon.

Just a small update on the turbo conversion. I mentioned I'll be doing something different and now I can reveal it all.

The turbo is still a K04, but it isn't your normal run of the mill K04-001. It is infact a K04-023 wich is a fair bit bigger than the 001. For that reason, I will also need the S3 injecters, 4 bar FPR and 3" Maf from a TT225. It will basicly be an S3 engine with a K04 upgrade.

Getting this tuned has been one small hurdle as it's not a straight bolt on upgrade but Gavin (h100vw) our resident Custom Code outlet will be joining the pilgrims to make the voyage to holy Sydney to do some data logging and tuning once we get things all installed. It will be a stage 3 tune and I'm bursting at the seams to get it done.

My exhaust manifold is on it's way to me as we speak and then I just have a few odds and ends to source including a FMIC, oil return lines and coolant lines from an S3 before the installation begins.

I still havn't put my car on a dyno to date but I will do so before to show the difference made.

    Nice Neil.

Looking very forward to hearing how it all goes.

How much power are you chasing?

From the research I have done, I'll be happy with 220HP at the wheels wich should be very doable. Anything above and beyond will be a bonus.

Just found this, a Skoda Otavia running the exact setup I will be. I'd love to say I'll get these figures but I doubt it.

    I was thinking around that.

Roughly 167+kwatw or 300hp at the engine.

I'd be very happy with that, and the delivery of that power should be nice an linear and very drivable. An LSD is the next thing on my shopping list plus some bigger breaks before I hit the track

That's a fantastic power curve, Neil. Very drivable and would be great for competition or track work, with very good throttle control i'm guessing. Should be great!
