My First Non-Performance Enhancing Mod - no go 56k

This marks a milestone for me - as last week I had the first non performance enhancing mod done to my car.

I've been in two minds about doing it for a while now, the added weight was my main concern.
However the bits and pieces were just sitting in my garage collecting dust.

My CD stacker had decided to stop working just days out from what turned out to be a 7 hour labour intensive job. In part cause I probably couldn't keep my mouth shut and let the man do his work..!!

Could this have been an omen?

I'm still undecided at the moment if I will get the whole thing done.

    Anyways on with the pics...!!

Do I look fat in this???

If I were a smoking man again, right about now is when I would spark up.

Since the CD player has decided to die on me I haven't had a chance to really enjoy listening to the speakers. definitely improved bass and treble even with the simple radio.

I've kept the stock HU in for the time being.

AND IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY CAUGHT ONTO THE THEME - IT SOUNDS ORGASMIC..!!

Installation was done by Marty from FHRX studios - http://www.fhrxstudios.com/

Extremely meticulous with his work - treated my car as if it was his own...!!!!

YOU HAVE TO SEE HIS OWN CAR TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS MAN'S PASSION

Now to lose the same amount of weight as I've put in....bwahahahahahaha....

Hope you guys enjoy the pictures, cause it was an abosolute PIA to upload those pictures...!!!

Edit: Brighter and clearer last picture

Wow awesome install. What a pain the CD player just died! I can recommend the iPod compatible Alpine decks as described in a previous stereo install thread of mine.

Just saw in your sig it's an R32. I'm wondering if the silver door handle in the first pic is stock or if you ordered this part or possibly sprayed it yourself? Looks awesome.

    Hi dancet,

Yeah I've seen your post with the iPod and aftermarket headunit.

I have something else in mind at the moment. I'm yet to fully decide if I will put my JL amps in the car.

    The silver handle is stock.

Thanks for the kind words Stan.

On another note, you should have used the following image for the last shot. It's a little clearer than the other one champ.
