    Cool my 2004 mk4 jti from hawaii ... :D

    hi ...

    just a litle overview about my jti ...


    08/2006 i bid on a gti at ebay.com (florida) and win the auction for this silver colored gti mk4 2004 ... so after this the story starts ...


    i imported this car to germany ... it licence is from hawaii (a police-man drived it over there! ) ...

    some facts ...

    - 06/2004 vw golf gti mk4 1.8t 36.000km

    mods:
    - 2,5" stainless steel exhaustsystem (200cells racing katalysator)
    - k04 upgrade turbo
    - extended 5th gear from TDI transmission (280km/h should be possible)
    - kw var. II stainless steel suspensions
    - 18" mercedes wheels white coated
    - custom paint (black with brown shine)
    - radical soundsystem with jl-sub and LRX 5-channal amp
    - clarion headunit
    - jetta-front and custom rear bumper (made of r32 rear bumber and lots of hours ... )
    - FORGE side-mount intercooler
    - samco hoses
    - ECU chipping to round about 245hp
    - black leather roof inside ... brown softleatcher applications ... interieur applications (middle) white colored

    and many more ...


    i did all these mods by myself ... only the paintjob was made by a specialist...

    out of curiosity,why did you import the car from florida?into germany? didnt you pay EU duties?
    also,with the rear hatch,which solenoid did you use to open the door? and where have you hidden the button?

    Why import a car from florida to Germany? I always thought that you can find any kind of golf there

    i pay a lot ... 2250 euro for tax, import, and all the papers... but it was so cheap, i could not resist ... (50% off german price that time...)

    the 2004 mk4 has the 3button-remotekey with seperate trunk-opener ... so it was no problem ... anyway, everybody could wire a button to the dashboard and open the trunk this way...

    @JVLR32: i only could get to this ... 250 is max hp with k04 turbo ... but its ok ... ... i would love to have a garrett 28 but its much more expensive to hard the engine to handle this heat, power and fun

    nice stuff.....wat $$$$ did you spend on your turbo set m8? ...Did you look at the EIP Turbo set ups they have?
