Mudflaps

Hi, my GTI has mudflaps, and i seem to be the only one haha!! Every other GTI i see doesn't have them, i can see where they are attached on so im going to try take them off. Just wondering if anyone else has taken them off before. I have about 2cms between them and the road since i got my coilovers fitted so getting in places is not fun! It will look so much better without them!

to be honest i dont mind the mud flaps... although i know what you mean by the 2cm thing!!

heh, no idea about removing them...
but anyway, just wondering, does the back of your car stays quite clean then? I find that with mine (no mud flaps) tends to get heaps dusty very quickly, especially with me driving on dusty-ish roads… oh, and having a black car too...
