    yeah thats the same as mine, except i only have two buttons, lock and unlock. i guess the overall button is the same size?? mine looks like this

    we have the same key. my key has only have 2 button, i just use my pic as an illustration. at the moment no one can cut those keys, but im on the mission to find one, i'm hoping my local mister minit can cut then soon. i guess we both in the same boat right now.

    i'm about to purchase a key of ebay for way less than what vw sell with the right part number and frq, but the the blade is un-cut. i need some one here in canberra or sydney can cut the key for me and re-program, dose any one know who can do the cutting and re-programing for me?

    You can just swap out the bit with the broken hook on it.

    i'm not after to replace the broken hook, i'm buying the key as a spare. i'm avoiding to pay $600 for a spare key.

    I know it doesnt help you, but there was a place somewhere in footscray that cut mk4 keys. I cant remember the name of it for the life of me cost my 15$ and I have a key that can open my car doors but not drive as it doesnt have immobiliser chip They did it by code. So I would suggest phone vw and ask them where you can get it cut. They should know, ask a few if the first one doesnt help.
