    MK4 Suspension

    Hey everyone,
    New to the forums.

Just got a 2000 mk4 and I noticed that one of the dampeners are blown on the front left passenger side. I got quoted from a mechanic that it would cost 600-700 to change both front dampeners.

Seems a bit expensive. Anyone got some suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Augy

if you dont go coil overs you can get Bilstein front and rear shock in NZ$950.
Or around $800ish for you and another $450 or around $380 for you. and you have a new Bilstein and H&R suspension kit front and rear for a little bit more money.
