    cheers blitzen.I,ll check mine out and if needs replacing I spose i,ll try the K&N seeing as though it has a following.

    K&N is largely a wank. You get bugger all extra flow over an OEM paper filter, and have to deal with the oil, cleaning it, etc (over-oil it and you'll ruin your MAF, etc).

    Incidently, more flow means larger holes in the filter (there's no getting away from this), and larger holes in the filter means it's not a filter, meaning you'll get more small particles making it through and into your engine (or worse, into your turbo).
    Nothing to see here...

    Yes, I agree.

    This is the filter from VT V6 Commodore second picture is filter placed against the sky, so you can see the holes in the filtering media.
