i never used the hair dryer
i bought a nice small qood quality razor
and one by one i went with the knife (extended a notch or two) and punched slits in every sealed cell in the centre to give me a bearing as to which cell i was working cutting from the back
i cut from the back to minimalise slicing of the external part of the honey comb so i didnt manky it up! but as i was using the knife to cut the back out..
i was following what the blade was doing which the external part of the honey comb facing myself! this way i could match cut angles and minimilise any tags etc that could make it look like sh*t!
but when i was cutting from the back i only had a very slight bit of the craft knife notched out.. this meant i could change direction of the knife without to much trouble and curve it nicley to the honey comb shape..
It takes hours but its fully fully worth it
i did it one night when it was raining..
avoiding puddles in Auckland, good luck
I remember each time it rained (and it raines hard over there) this lake would appear on Tamaki drive (towards Mission Bay, next to the mini golf course) about half a wheel deep and all over the road. It was fun speeding through it but i didnt have a CAI on my car back then.
I miss that city...

I was in Sydney on Business three weeks ago now
it was pissing down worse than auckland
only thing i really liked about sydney was the cool night clubs and the hot ethnic chicks actually just the hot chicks in general!
i still wouldnt trade auckland for anything..
Aucklands a dump but it really grows on you
