Should be a very good thing, but i'm still not gonna do it to my car. The POD filter is just behind it, and i don't wanna think about it every time there is some water on the road (not that it happens often in Perth ).

    So is mine?

water blowing on to it isnt going to do jack

i knows as it was pissing down hard for the last 4 days

is when you completely submerge the pod in a puddle thats when your going to have a problem!

its was actually advised to me by the VW Techos to drive with the Grille out as the pod wasnt getting enough air.. it threw some readings out when they were running diags on it

Definitely want to do this mod now. Looks so much better. Hitman, would it be worth using a heat gun before cutting out the pieces or do they cut out quite easily without it?
I think I'll still get one of those air bypass valves when I get my cai tough.

I used a hair dryer just to gently warm up the grill every few minutes or so, also you want to have a few spare blades as the sharper the blade the easier the cutting.

Ive got a Air Bypass Valve sitting in my Garage at home..

not using it because i dont want to cut up my CAI..

    i just avoid puddles..

and in the case i hit one.. ill turn the car off instantly any way
