    Mk4 gti mods

    Hi All,

Looking at getting a MK4 GTI soon and have a few questions.

Wondering how much power the bottom end/gearbox/clutch can handle roughly?

What turbos are common upgrades for the mk4?

From what Ive read, tuning is done is stages? What consists of stage 1,2 and 3?

Roughly how many kw can a cooler, full exhaust, injector, fuel pump and tune get you at the wheels?

Who do you recommend in Melbourne to dyno tune/service?

Which coilovers do you recommend? Would like it sitting fairly flush, but don't want to spend too much.

Ill most likely look at getting a R32 KIT, has anyone purchased one of the replica kits from here? Thoughts/Reccomendations? VW Golf MK4 4 IV Body KIT R32 Look Front Rear Bumper Side Skirts | eBay

    Thanks a lot !

With the right parts you might get to 180kw at the crank. It'll cost you though. You need to replicate the hardware on an S3.

Stage 1 is a tune on a bog standard car. 2 is downpipe and other hardware. 3 is turbo change.

There's plenty to read in the MK4 section if you look a bit,.
