MK4 GTI ECU remap

Hey guys,

I've got myself a mk4 gti and want to get some more power. Done a bit of readying and have decided that an ecu remap is the best dollar for power you can get.

Now I'm tossing up between a stage 1 and 2. How much power difference is there between the two. Also do either need further mods to support the tune?

Lastly will the car still be reliable as an everyday driver after a time and can anyone recommend an shops that are good to get it done at in Sydney?

There's not the greatest increase between 1 and 2. A little more midrange.

You do need a downpipe for stage 2.

I know guys running stage 3 Golf's daily. You just need to keep on top of servicing.

$749 for Custom-Code Stage 1 from myself. I'll be in Sydney at the end of May for VW Nationals. Although I can do it sooner if you are able to send the ECU to me.

How much for stage 2 including Downpipe?

gavin these cc are tuned for 98 ron from the uk company or 91/95..
car runs great on 91-even pushed..not a ping in sight

my next post be reading-whats a rebuild worth haha

Stage 2 is 849. I don't supply downpipes, there's too much choice on the internet to compete.
