Mk4 gti brake set for mk4 1.6

There's a brake set for sale I am after that has mk4 gti front brake calipers, do you guys know if they will fit ok on stock mk4 1.6 rotors?

Gti rotors are 288. Im assuming 1.6 is 280mm
Also you will need the hub/spindle from the gti or 4mo bora or v5 bora

The GTi has larger dia rotors and without knowing much on these VW's I'd put plenty on them not fitting. Always good to have a pipe dream - no harm in that...

Lemon tree where are you located? If you are in Brisbane I have a set of front gti brakes you can have for free...

There'd be a hub change involved in this. Not worth the time and effort in my opinion. Best save the money for the next car.
