half mfa / full mfa dash (good luck finding a full one)
different gear knob
different woodgrain style (usually not cracked unlike earlier models lol)
rear power socket optional in some ive noticed (all in early models tho have this)

whatever mk4 you get change the gearbox/diff rivets to the bolt kit asap you dont want the issue i just recently had it hurts the pocket..

aparently its a common problem on mk4s that the diff/gearbox were made with rivets which usually give in and break.. just cost me 4k for lsd n new clutch with gearbox reco..

I thought the GTI boxes were'nt rivetted like the 1.6???
