Mk4 golf 2.0l sport needing coolant. Also best servicing in melborne

    Hi guys,
I'm after some help for my sisterinlaw, her golf is needing coolant every drive but can't find a leak. Any golf problems that can be causing this? (I have a Passat so I don't know much about the 2lt)
Also any tips on the best place to service and fix the problem with it in Melbourne.

    Thanks everyone!
    Blake.

Try VolksPower in Burwood. These guys know their **** and seem relatively tame on price compared to others.

A car chewing through a lot of coolant without a leak is never a good thing.
Check the oil cap to see if the oil is white in colour. If so, it's head gasket time.

Mine has had two leaks from the same spot out the side of the head over the years.
was only when the car was cold so didnt spot it for a while. the plastic housing seems to warp. not sure if caused by short trips or my engine having so much movement due to shagged engine mounts.
Try Boris at Volkscare or one of the guys at Volkwerke pending on whats closest.

Last time I used Volkspower they did more damage then good to my car.
