MK4 front lower section - how to re-attatch?

    hi there guys

hoping someone can give me some pointers on how the lower section on the front bumper ona MK4 is attatched? tried to have a look under the car, but the MK4's are fairly low from factory so i cant really see properly

had a bit of a mishap last night and the lower section was ripped off on one of those cement parking stoppers in the supermarket car park

managed to get he car off it without causing too much damage, however now it has popped off on the right hand side

so yher anyone know how this section is attatched to the rest of the car?

    cheers, dan

It has 2 screws I believe. If you've ripped it off I think you'll find it's torn through the plastic. You may be lucky enough to but the clips back over the top and still be able to screw it back in.

    Good luck!

    Hi,
Thought I'd just add my two cents. If it's anything like the bumper on my car, you need to slide it in horizontally. From memory there's two clips that you need to slide in. Both are on the side one towards the back and one towards the front.
It was pretty difficult and required a bit of force to slide back in. I had to pull it forward, push it up and then push it in.
Good luck hopefully you didn't break anything when you scraped it.
    Cheers
