yes there will, haha. any car will always have further problems.
the real question is are you sure that it is just the 02 sensor that is stuffed, and how do you know, i.e. has it been inspected or did the owner tell you that?

    thanks for your reply man.

when the owner turned on the car it was struggling to stay on.
he told me he got it inspected and its the oxygen sensor thats rekt and it will only cost 200 buks max 2 get it fixt.

The car has also done 160ks and his selling it for 5gs. what do you think

i think you should get it inspected by someone who knows vw's
if the owner knows the problem you'd have to ask why they didn't get it fixed if it was only $200... (pretty sure it'd be a bit more than that)

If it's so cheap to get it fixed, get him to fix it before you pay for it. And yeah, get it inspected by someone who knows VWs - there are a few specialists in your area (Seb over at Girraween to start with, at least two Euro specialists in Parra/North Parra).

Which Mk4 Golf? They range from 1.6L econoboxes to 3.2L AWD monsters...
    Nothing to see here...

the 1.6s have there problems , if you do a search on hte forum you will find the answer. Personally id say get a 2lt, still cheap as chips to run, but just has a little more power

    Auto or manual.
There are a lot of problems with the manual gearboxes.
Do a search on DUU gearbox codes and see the horror unfold.
2L or GTI is a better proposition, or even 1.6 auto.
