    Mk4 1.6 gearbox faulty

    Can a 2.0 manual gearbox fit in a 1.6 engine? all the fittings the same? the

    Need to know what shift linkage arrangement it has.

    Early 1.6 boxes were linkages. Later ones were all cable.
    '07 Transporter 1.9 TDI
    '01 Beetle 2.0
