Not to my knowledge. There are plent for Mk3's around however. And it seems they were quite successfull sellers due to the numbers you see on the road. Makes me wonder why they didn't do a MkIV?
Hi everyone,
A question.....
Did VW ever release a MKIV Cabrio in Australia. I have seem MK IIIs and the new Eos but have never seen a MKIV Cabrio....is there such an animal?????
Thanks
There is a MK3.5 cabrio, which is a MKIV front and a MKIII rear, that is the one that you have seen getting about I would say... I am not sure if this was considered part of the MKIV, I am going to say that it was as it has the same instruments and I think build dates IIRC.
New Beetle is on MkIV platform so you could say that is the successor to Golf MkIII & III.5
