    mini buildup thread ... :P

well it seems Build up Threads are as popular as facebook and myspace these days .. so heres mine. (that and everybody keeps asking me whats been done argh)

bought jan 2 years ago exactly with 31,000kms on it stock as a rock minus Oettinger Chip and also Oettinger Rear Hatch Wing. the condition was immac and the price just as good.. car was only driven 1 month out of every year owned due to owner living overseas

i promised myself this time around this car i would keep the mods to a minimal! ..... (didnt work out too well but i did try for a few weeks).

it didnt take long, oettinger front sports grill soon then followed within 2 weeks lol... then the remus oet back box

not too longer after came along my kamei eyelids (temporary) Votex body kit which Jade Auto Repair were kind enough to source and fit/spray for me.

At the same time Seb from EuroAutomotive helping me out with my cars servicing along with modifications (Bastardo lol...) and as well as Dragan from InMotive who provided me soon with some Lowered KW Springs which i had in for sometime till my shocks died for the KW V2 Upgrade down the line.. whilst unfortunately at Sebs within the first few weeks of having my car a GFB Plumback Diverter Valve and a N75J Valve was also fitted then not long after a CAI was also put on.. it just kept going i guess from there, 3" dp etc etc

The hard decision was to find a set of wheels that i liked that would SUIT and FIT the Golf 5x100 offset.. as mk4 owners know its not the easiest to find in Australia! Everything decent is overseas or big big dollars and still average!
Ended up with a set of H&R Racing Rims (18x which im still quite happy with
HOWEVER looking to change and upgrade to some Porsche wheels (still very indecisive)

at this point [votex kit, eyelids, grill, wheels, just before springs]

It just got worse from here on, i have Seb to blame for a lot of it for teasing me with upgrades and parts and too much knowledge in general lol. (however probably the most helpful mechanic and friend you possibly could have, plug ....but im sure everyone who'd know him would agree).

I can't remember all the particular sequence for all the mods in order unfortunately though ...

However recently i did get bored and changed my Votex Bodykit's front skirt and got myself an 20th Anniversary Front Skirt and put the Votex Front Skirt + AE Rear on the black one (completing it from only having ae sides on)

Then even more recent i plunged into the depth of getting my REAL Boser Bonnet done and fitted as well as the AE Skirt fitted at the same time! (HUGE thanks to Damian, Jono, Dave and the boys @ Jade for all the work involved to get it done and it looks tops!)

The next step is popping off to GIAC power finally and wheels change possibly when i come back from Holidays ....

at present it follows as such;-

    KW V2s
    H&R Front Sway
    Strut Brace
    20mm/10mm Spacers
    H&R 18x8 [sp9000s]
    R32 Steering Wheel
    R32 Trim / Door Grips-Handles
    Anniversary Gear Knob
    HID Xenon Kit
    N75J Valve
    GFB Plumback
AEM 3" CAI + Dry AEM Filter
    Forge TIP
    Boose Hose Kit
    Neuspeed Pancake Pipe Upgrade
    Boser Bonnet
    AE Front & Rear Skirts
    Votex Side Skirts
    FK Badgeless Grill
    R32 Pedals
    RLine Alloy Door Pins
Remus Backbox + Remus Racepipe + 3" SS Downpipe
New South Performance Steering Column Boost Gauge
    Forge Dogbone Bushes
Sport Dash Facia + Sport Alloy Rings
    [alarm; tilt/shock/radar/glass sensored]
    20th AE Door Sills
    Forge Stubby Antenna

and not sure what else? will update.
