Hmmmm - black has been done a gazillion times. I quite like the idea of a blue matte if it were a similar colour to mine now...

I do love the colour of my car, just trying to think of a way to better it if I can (IMO).

I tend to agree. when most people think matt/flat paint, it's pretty much always black. There are defiantly other options out there. I remeber seeing on vortex once, ( in the A1 sections) some plug for a company that has a whole range of flat paints, real proper ones. in the US of corse. no link unfortuntely, but I think the range may have been called hot rod, or something to do with hot rod..?

    can anyone confirm that?

Give a few panel beaters/rod shops a call tomorrow Neil, and get ur feelers out there!

I think Matte would look awesome in either Black, Grey (Aluminium look) or Silver (mother of pearl look)

GPK_Gti's car looked awesome Matte, prior to them putting on the clear coat.

this is what i was looking for before, well at least I'm pretty sure it was. It'd defiantly be a "first" in australia. a new car having flat/matte paint.

Daytona Blue Pearl I believe is the colour you'd want

I was originally going to paint my whole car in that, but black board paint isn't really cheap.

Also, I reckon there would have been chalk message's left on the car all the time

Getting closer but still lacking a bit of contrast. Needs to be a bit bolder...
