Looks good guys, if i wasnt so lazy i would jack the car up and do this. Visual mods arent really my thing though.
Good to see ppl doing things for themselves and not forking over $$ getting someone else to do it.

Take the calipers off, strip them, paint, and put back on the car

least take the caliper off, or tape around the bolts/nuts/bleed plug/and PADS!

Yes you will get better results taking the caliper off, but for some people that becomes a bit more of a a serious mod. We did this video because a friend paid $1000 to have his calipers painted because he though he HAD to take them off and didn't want to mess with his brakes.
We're showing that you can get good results, simply and easily, and anyone can do it if they have the time.

Well I've got 2 GTI's now so I should. My wife is rolling in my MK4 GTI with full exhaust, boost and air filter, and I'm picking up my MKV GTI tomorrow.
We will both try and come along next time!

And one more thing - yes we're for real but its done with a touch of irony and humour.
In our first series we've shown how to install a front mount, a blow off valve, a boost gauge, a killswitch, a stereo, central locking, how to steam clean interior, how to roll gaurds, how to look after rubber on your car, and how to paint calipers. Fox has now approached us about doing a TV series. So why do you think that all those mods are ****?
I think these above mentioned are the first mods that most people want to do on their cars. Not as relevant for those of with GTI's (because our cars are perfect already
