This is the bonnet on my GF black magic MK4 golf

This is after just one pass:

    flash on:

Full sun shot, on some angles you can see the marring/hazing left by the I.P on Green.

Bonnet finished and wearing P21S wax:

A little grubby from being caught out in the rain but I couldn't resist taking a pic when I saw the reflection in the bonnet when we got home.

Ok, this is from a day's work with Meg's paint cleaner, deep crystal polish then 2 coats of Carnuba wax, applied then removed with a rotary buffer, the final buff with a lambs wool fine finishing pad

Next major detail i'm looking at filling all the stone chips and scratches, hitting it all with a claybar treatment, a quick sand then full polish

pretty close in my opinion, especially since the wax used on this probably costs the same as all three of my Meguiars bottles!!

Sorry for poor quality of pics, my digital camera is playing up, had to use my phone...

washed then clay barred with clay magic blue clay bar.

    Essentially a 4 step polish

Menzerna Power Gloss on Yellow edge pad
Menzerna Intensive polish on Green edge pad (2 passes in places)
Menzerna final finish on blue edge pad
Menzerna final finish on white edge pad
    Alcohol/water mix wipe down
P21S wax to seal it in

Microfibre cloths from Aquatouch Ultrasoft were used throughout.

Just came across this site, a local disty for the Chemical Guys range of products (quite a few are mentioned in that original link)

    Might be useful...
