    Ya mate, sorry meant the fuse - its the S180 that is cooked.

    Could you explain -AFIK Aus cars?

    If I put the two together it does seem like the deck has caused it but I could certainly be wrong.

    Fuse S180 = Coolant fan (30A). Go get that sorted.

    AFIK Aus cars - I mean As Far as I Know no Australian cars came with Kline radios - these were the ones which interacted with OBD. So you should not have an OBD issue because of the aftermarket radio.

    So what it is about the OBD that makes you think it is broken ?

    I have seen a few aftermarket radios that interfere with the kline. Take the head unit out and keep unplugging stuff until you get VCDS to work is my advice.

    I was told by the mechanics that they couldn't get a read onit. That's interesting about the S180 as my cooling fan still works fine but it is a concern as to what may have caused it.
