    lug nuts

Just wanting to know how tight should the bolts be? Tight enough to be undone by hand?

well mk4s have bolts not nuts.
Iv always done mine by hand.
rattle gun on the FT setting is also good if youhave a breaker bar to remove them later

If you get stuck on the side of the freeway with a flat you'll want to be able to get them off by hand.

Even in a body shop I usually finish doing them up with a wheel brace, rather than over tighten with a rattle gun so noone can ever get them off again

Ohk, cause i was applying plasti dip on my rims and got the back ones off but the front wheels seem to be stuck. I used a rattle gun as well but still didn't work, which got me to think about how tight bolts should be, i guess them being unable to come off is too tight ...

The owners manual should have it listed there. Then you will need to invest in a simple (pointer type) torque wrench and add it to your tool kit
