Yeah they do sag a little. Not heaps, but they will lower in a bit more than when you first put them in. Noticed it on my Lancer with the springs and shocks, but not so much with coilovers I guess cos of how stiff they're made.

nice, comforting to hear! will see how it goes.

i was already considering getting a set of H&R race springs. though they may be a bit stiff for daily driving
can get em delivered from ECS for USD$336... not bad (costs more to ship the sport ones for some reason)
hmmm may not hurt to have two different sets of springs. might need to learn how to change springs over first! surely it's not hard with a spring compressor...

with a spring compressor your laughing. without it can be done (i did mine...) i suggest getting the specialised tool for the top of the strut though (if you havnt already).

i should probably do a search on how it's done... but what tool do you need?
i presume you'd only need that for the fronts

    just did some reading http://fortuneman.tripod.com/suspension/install.htm
only tool they mention is a "specialty tool" to loosen the spindle from the strut

actually looks more involved than i thought. you need to lower the subframe too, and wheel alignment also...
