    Great find!:

worldimpex are a real pain to try and get parts from.

Last time I tried they would only ship by a courier (not USPS for a third of the price) and they wanted a Western Union transfer for payment - would not accept a credit card!!!

I haven't got an intercooler, but I have an extra radiator under there.

If you can convince your texer just to get some from his dealership and use USPS to send them, it will probably work out the same price anyway.

Yeah what ever you do get them to send it USPS air mail. Simple, door to door no problems and CHEAP!

Do NOT use UPS or any other private service. They're useless, it takes twice as long, and costs twice as much!

Plus they usually charge you customs duty as well as they do the clearance in house.

Yeah the pricks. They only stung me once. That was it! The old man and I use USPS or nothing now.

Mate I'm glad your getting somewhere, as I'm getting no answers back from anyone now, including Impex or the dealer guy I was talking to on Vortex.

Geez, it's hard to believe there's companies in the US going broke every 60 seconds with people loosing their houses and sleeping in their cars, and here's a customer wants to buy something, asks a few questions regarding O/S shipping, and it's like it's all too hard !!

I just got this response from the Vortex guy, and no response at all from the Impex mob, back to the drawing board I guess:

Much as I'd like to help you out, we had a bad experience a number of years ago involving a sizeable shipment that ended up going to Nigeria, so we no longer ship out of the US. You are on the right track with the group-buy idea. They would most likely be penalized via dimentional-weight if you ordered them in ones & twos. If you order in 5-10, the shipping per piece should be much more favorable. Good luck with the project.

    Still working on this,

I just sent another enquiry to World Impex, so I'll see if they answer this time.

Not sure if they didn't get the last one or just ignored me!
