    Congratulations, that's awesome.
Be sure to share pics with us - you'll need to host them on photobucket or something similar.

Just wanted to say thanks for the help. I purchased the car and will pick it up next week monday. RACV report came up good only noted a few little things. They are fixing a seat belt which was worn but that was the only thing that needed the urgent attention.

So im wrapped with the purchase just waiting to get a hold of the car now. Im like a little kid on chrissy day i cant wait till monday
    Good luck.

Coincidentally, today is 9 years to the day that I took delivery of my old Mk4 GTI. It was an October 2000 build and came with the Montreal II aloys, sunroof and badged Recaros. No keyless entry or alarm and no MFD screen between the dials.

I think sunroof became optional with MY02 spec, which then had the badgless Recaro seats and MFD screen. At a guess MY02 production would have started from June, July or August 2001 build dates.

Those seats look amazing new - I guess they've faded a bit since then

Picked the car up Last night. Was an awesome drive home with Air Con. My last car never had air con.

Must say the car drives smooth and gear changes are nice and smooth as well. Still working out how to use everything and trying to remember the damn indicator is on the other side.

How do you guys find the car as a daily.

    Well done mate!

The GTI MKIV is fantasic as a daily. I average minimum 400 KM a week with mine. Easy to drive, easy to park, no complaints ever.
