Yup its the 2.8 vr6. Its never enough power currently runing ~200kw at the wheels on the street and it feels too slow!! Need bigger exhaust so i can run more boost! Damnn the power curse, i've had too many quick cars to be happy with just 200kw! Call me greedy lol

Yeh it was a two wheel dyno. Wish i could've gotten on a 4wd dyno but my mechanic mate has a 2wd one so alas the fuse was pulled!

Plus last time i ran on a 4wd dyno the awd cracked the ****s! Even in the VW service manual it suggests to put the car into 2wd mode for use on rolling roads so i guess it's better this way. Not quite as accurate power wise tho...

Wow, big congrats to you mate. My envy levels have gone through the roof following this thread. Just makes me see that it isn't impossible to do this without a blank cheque. Again congrats and good luck with the quest for more POWER.

Dag nammit, just finished up wiring up and getting installed my indigo new south boost and oil pressure gauges on a column pod i got from ECS only to find that the boost gauge they've supplied me is not the right one! They gave me a spectrum multi colour one which doesnt match the factory gauges at all unlike the oil pressure one which is an indigo model and thus is perfect. Took another hour just then trying different resistor combinations (supplied) and colour settings to no avail, they just dont match the oil pressure gauge / factory gauges

Worst thing is i went to great effort to have all the wiring kept neat as possible and have buggered that all up when the looms had to be unwapped to be made to get at the wiring to play around with resistors and capacitors to stop the gauge blinking and try and get it the right colour.

Just e-mailed ECS to see how we can go about getting me the right gauge... after about 4 or so hours being a perfectionist making sure everything was installed to look factory i gotta say i'm dissappointed
