    Lock becoming tight.

Hey guys. my drivers side lock is busted, so i have been using the passenger one for some time now.

today the key was becoming stuck a little bit when i would goto turn the key in the lock. i dont want to put much pressure on it as it might bust and i wont be able to lock or unlock my car, and if its locked at that point im proper ****ed!

would this be the lock on its last legs?

im told wd40 is a bad option but graphite or something like that is the way to go? where do i get it from and how do i apply it ?

graphite powder you will be able to get it from bunnings and it has a small nossle so you should be able to put some in the barrel by poking the nossle in it

just by putting it in the key slot, or pull out the assembly and coat whatever seems necessary from them?
