Great service from ECS, from placing the order to parts in my hand ... 7 days! Nice.

The new O2 sensor from ECS should be arriving any day so I am planning to fit it at the weekend.
Can anyone tell me where the sensor is located on the V5? I know it will be somewhere between the extractors and the cat so once it is up on ramps I should be able to find it but it will save me some time if someone knows its location.
Also, is it accessible with normal tools or will I need a lamda wrench?
Thanks!

Yep, they're great - I've ordered on a Monday before and had parts in my hand by the Friday.
WRT the sensor, there's one directly before the catalytic converter and one right after. I'd guess you have bought the pre-cat sensor. Not sure what tool is required to remove it, I do know that ECS sell a tool for installing/removing it, but that may be a convenience rather than necessity thing.

Nothing to see here...
I can beat that. When I bought my VAGCOM cable from Ross Tech, I ordered it on a Friday afternoon and it arrived at about 11am on the Monday!Great service from ECS, from placing the order to parts in my hand ... 7 days! Nice.
I'm guessing the O2 sensor is on the exhaust manifold.

From memory you can just pull them out? Maybe something like a Light bulb; twist and pull. But i might be going insain.
The one in my 2lt can just be accessed from the top of the engine bay, my mechanic did it while i was standing there. But i can not remember exactly where it was sorry.
