Leather Seats?

hey guys I'm looking at leather seats for my golf and was wondering how much is the bench mark? I've been quoted $550 for a full set?? or will i be cheaper re-upholstering my originals?

Leather was a $3000 option when new so as long as they're in good condition, that sounds like a good price.

An upholsterer quoted me $700 to do the door cards on my GTI, so you'll pay much more that way. Also, OEM leather seats will also be heated. You'll need to buy a wiring harness and the two controller dials.

Yea im going to get more pics, I'm in two minds as I will need shipping and I should really be buying brakes and doing a service :/

so details are, not heated but are factory? for the floor carpet he has quoted me $175 and $550 for the leather seats? plus shipping ill see what the total is, may just wait as ive been informed that a member on another forum will be selling MKIV R32 seats which would be even better!
