    got pics?
also if you check out the back of the spokes or under the centre cap there should be the specs
im guessing your talking about the 17x7.5et51 5 spokes that came off the later first gen TT.
if so you will need adapters or spacers to make them fit offset/width wise. and if they are the ones im thinking you will need adapters anyway as they are 5x112.
I get my adapters custom made from adaptecspeedware. comes with all the hardware and come built to whatever spec.
a guy on here got some cheaper off ebay not long ago (check out the 'what you did today section" i think)
otherwise for normal fitments like yours 5x100-5x112 ECS stock some

pretty sure the specs I posted above are right, but you will have to double check before ordering adapters
adaptec will be ~$350 landed for a set of 4 with hardware i think.
H&R from ECS come in about the same or just a touch under from memory.
as for quality I dont know about the others, Iv seen pics where a car has been involved in a accident. whole suspension and body was a mess, but the adapter/wheel was still on and fine. that had adaptec.
H&R would be good im sure.
    Others no idea.

Around 360 landed. Came in about 8days. Very good quality. Would've got some ecs but they weren't in stock. Damian from dpm is a great bloke too.

I've used H&R, and also custom made steel ones, never had an issue with either type. I would steer clear of all-aluminium ones if you come across them. All-steel ones are fairly heavy but are good and strong, H&R ones are aluminium with steel inserts, best of both worlds.

Do you have a pic of the wheels? Are you certain they're 5x112?

pretty sure they are 5x112, the offset is 56 as well, any suggestions on adapter size to get them sitting flush?

I am horrible when it comes to wheels and offsets blah blah - it totally pickles my noodle. BUT, how ome when we talk of spacers we never seem to discuss centre bore? Isn't that the most important thing with spacers and wheels? The wheel nuts AFAIK are there to hold the rim flush against the rotor, and its the hub that actually takes the weight and force?

yep. thats why the centre bore is important on our cars.
i know of someone running a bigger centre bore wheel on there vw and even with the wheel carefully torqued up using the correct seat and length bolts the wheel managed to pick up a wobble quickly!

Do you actually want them flush? or just spaced out a little better then your average after market wheel. imo skinny wheels spaced out too far look a little odd from behind.
Need to know what height the car is. need to confirm the width and offset (et56 you said)
