So are you saying there is now two alarms/imobiliser or the original imobiliser is still killing the fuel?
As you know im having issues with my car...
All this started when i got an alarm installed with a turbo timer...
Initially the alarm would get confused and kill the fuel to the car and it would die...but i got the technician to fix that but bypassing the ecu or something along those lines...
Would the alarm have anything to do with it???????
Hehe - common knowledge that certain Alarms don't like certain Turbo Timers.
Which TT do you have ?

Edit: It's a wiring issue or the above.

No no...
My original immobiliser doesnt work...i can only use my aftermarket alarm...
The alarm had come with an internal turbo timer. The alarm was designed so that if someone tried stealing my car it cuts the fuel completely. Now initially when i got it, it would do so whilst driving, that is, completely cut all the fuel to my car and it'll just die.
My question is, can wiring an aftermarket alarm interfere with the ecu?
The reason i ask, is that my car, at the moment, will just start to loos power and gradually die. I'm getting it looked at today, but im just trying to go through and eliminate the mods i've done to the car.
I have a golf gti
