How do you open the boot?
i would say solenoid boot pops they are similar to how a cetral locking system works press a button and i unlocks the fiddly part is opening without a grab handlebut the boot is so smooth

This is a ebay kit
I used the same solenoid that pops the gas door to pop the boot/hatch and it plugs right into the vw harness. I just had to make a few small brackets to mount it. So I can pop it from my factory vw(.:R) remote and the drivers side door switch.
