Do you run 'fun' plates on the front all the time? Because they are awesome!

Waiting on some parts to turn up
Lower front brace (DEG DD 8L9 199 403 part #)
    Front upper stur bar(8L9 805 629 A part #)

I'm sure everyone all ready knows about this
Here's the part number for you gents if you would like to run one also since both are Audi/Vw parts.)

The parts came stock on the Audi S3 and Vw passat according to the ETK
The lower brace bolts between the lower part of the subframe and the upper bolts around the left and right strut mounts. 3 holes on each side will have to drilled for the mounting of the upper strut brace since our R32's didnt come with mounting studs like the audi S3's. As far as the passat I'm not sure if they have the mounting studs.

Both upper and lower braces can be used on the MK4 and MK5 R32's and I'm sure on the mk4 golfs also.

I will have more info next week when the parts turn up and I'll take some pics of the install. Cheers and enjoy your weekend.

Nice, got the lower S3 bar on order just waiting for it to arrive ! Got some rivnuts installed last weekend so it's ready to nail on as soon as the box of goodies arrives.
I was thinking of an upper brace. I'll have to look that up, thanks mate for sharing.

so does your strut tower brace ADD stiffness to the chassis? or does it add bling and reinforce chassis?

I was told by heaps of folks that most 2000-onwards cars are pretty rigid around the front chassis and that most cars need stiffening of the chassis for the rear.

I'd ASSUME it would be mostly for bling as the struts are pretty much sitting on the firewall for for the R32 and wouldn't really imagine it'd benefit from a brace. In saying that, however, adding those 2 can ONLY benefit the car and i'm sure it will make a difference in one way or another...

PLEASE bring it down to Brisbane! =D
