Awesome result mate!! Must feel good to have her back to 100%
So yesterday Erin, the legend, helped me out all day scanning and troubleshooting the beast. We ended up replacing the spark plugs as three were horribly corroded (I'll upload some pics later). We also found the coilpacks looked pretty average in cylinders 4 through 6. We got it idling rough, but no misfires, though when I drove it the misfire came back. Same cylinder 3 misfiring again. Took it to Prestige and Performance first thing this morning and despite them being booked out they helped narrow it down to a coilpack by switching the coilpack around. The misfire followed where we put the coilpack.
Then I took it to Austral VW as my car turned out to be on the recall list. Amazingly they had 6 coilpacks in stock and replaced all of mine. So now the car runs super smoothly, feels a lot tighter and has a bit more go to it.
Thanks heaps to Corey and Sally who came over Saturday night and helped out. And a massive thanks to Erin for helping me out yesterday and driving me all over Brisbane to get things to fix the beast up!

Thats the best outcome you could have hoped for!
glad you got it sorted dude!
Thanks guys! Yeah I was amazed how well things slotted into place this morning. Really happy and Austral were very efficient, and provided a good level of service to me

Phewwww!
I bet your parents are wondering why you bought a car that has more tantrums and more needs than the average female :p
Great outcome Jed!
I did have a sneaking suspicion it was the coil packs as I had mine replaced under the recall
