    James Dean's MK4 1.8T Jetta

Thought I might start a little build thread.
Don't have anything other than status updates on Facebook documenting it.

    Started off completely stock.
    Stock includes,
    Shattered clutch.
    Cracked sump.
    Dents.
    Chips in the windscreen.
    Snapped oil dipstick.
    Cracked coolant flange.

[picture of stock bora dripping fluids]

First night I had it most of the VW emblems where stolen.
    Not winning.

    Modifications.

    Wheels/Suspension.
    19" Work Eurolines.
    8mm Spacers on the front.
XYZ Coilovers, modified in the rear.

    Exterior.
    De-badged.
    Team HEKO slimline weather shields.
    Single wiper.
    Stickers!
VWWatercooled.org.au stickers in the rims. Thanks to The_Hawk.
Dora the explorer hanging off the tow hook thing.
    Murdered rear guards.

    Interior.
    Fixed back Recaro drivers seat.
    GTi cluster.

    Engine.
    1.8T AGU engine.
    Mini beer keg intake.

    -

    Plans/future mods/waiting to arrive.

    Waiting to arrive.

    Wink mirror.
    Camber shims.
    Rear arm relocation plates.

    Plans.
    Bigger spacers on the rear.
    Lighter rims.
    Roof racks.
    Votex full kit.

    Next year/2013 mods.
    TSI forged crank.
    Forged conrods and pistons.
    Cams.
    Computer.
    Intake plenum.
    Bigger turbo (much bigger)
    Heavy as **** clutch.
    LSD.
    Shaved engine bay.

In the future I am hoping to get around the 500hp mark out of the engine. Might also hit the AWD path but not sure if it worth the work yet.

    Some pictures?

That rolling shot is more of an ideal height. With smaller tyres thats how it will roll.
