    Installing a FORGE Diverter valve

Get your after market dv from ebay ( http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQ...assZfirefly051 )or local shop,

dump you old stock dv or bodgy turboxs dv,

use some pliers to remove this clamp on larger pipe,

    screw driver for smaller pipe,

use a small flat screw driver to wedge this clamp off on top, ditch it afterwards and replace with a normal type clamp.

Did you get your different springs as well? Im sure you've done your research and realise each spring is for a different amount of boost?? check forgemotorsport.co.uk and next time let us know as i can do a better price including the 3 spring kit too. Also you should install it in reverse as well.

and the mk4 how-to/faq section http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1835863 for more installs and what not

    as reversing as i said

forge tip review as ive noticed you havent done one yet, probably should be on your plate with apparent output you have.....

alternatively you can also get a Go Fast Bits Plumback, Go Fast Bits Hybrid (sound), Go Fast Bits Stealth FX (adjustable for more sound) which apparently are better as you have to service the Forge one fairly often so ive heard lately.

www.inmotive.com.au sell forge, go fast bit diverters.. go fast bits dv's actually make a bit more noise in comparison to the forge so ive noticed when ive used both.

as well if you had a CAI expect both or any that you use to sound like a BOV (which it does on the black gti thru the aem intake, will also post wav's of that in days to come)

No pics, car is being detailed and ready for sale! So no more mods for her.

The blue hoses are just for look i think... but it does look sporty inside the otherwise black engine!

eeek yeh! will miss it, lots of fun... going OS end of year so will have to sell it in a few months, but had some gearbox problems which cost me a lot... so sick of it and letting it go quicker.

I have the GFB plumback and it still makes quite a bit of a blowoff valve sound on lift.... can be heard far away... i can only imagine if it was open or 50/50 !
