Getting a full 42DD turbo back in for under a grand is going to be a challenge. Shipping is the killer, and once you go over the grand you will get hit up for import duty. The best I could do a 3" value line street ( cat ) dump, O2 spacer, 2.5" cat back with hidden tip for is $1162 shipped to you. From there the tip options are:
    dual 3" single wall +$45
    dual 3" double wall +$75
    single 4" single wall +$15
    single 4" double wall + $35.

NA motorsports do the best pricing period, and they can beat me on shipping so their pricing is a little better on big items like this, but you have to factor in import duty. My prices cover that.

You will need an O2 spacer ( from anyone ) as the 3" dump will throw errors on the cat sniffing sensor that monitrs the cat. If you didn't want a 42DD one that saves you $48.

Bang for buck get a 3" dump - the value line slip on ( bolts to stock cat back ) is $515 shipped to you, and add just the rear muffler back to some nice tips, keeping your first half of the cat back stock. 42DD will make up any part of a system I want, and you could get that for about $800 shipped as an approximation. There's no power to be had getting any more of the cat back, but this gives you the sound, and some nice tips ( 4 types to choose from ), at a decent price. Just an idea, but with me you don't have to get complete bits, I'm happy to get custom things in for people.

Yep it's all mild steel, but thicker 14 gauge ( 2mm thick ) and aluminized ( aluminium coated ), and all the resonators and muffs are stainless.

Anyone recommend something? Or somewhere to build me one custom?

Give Franck at FMD motorsport in West Gosford a call.

He made me a cracking system for my old S3 at a very good price.

Tossing up between a 42DD system (Magnaflow) or buying a Megan racing DP 2.5" and then a Magnaflow Catback. Can get the 1st as above (around 1150) and the second for about 800.

Be aware that systems designed for LHD cars won't necessarily fit well on RHD.

Go custom - a place like Castle Hill Exhaust will help you out.
    Nothing to see here...

I had a megan DP, they really good, was nice without any Drone. had to sell it when I fitted my full 2.5inch Milltek turbo back system. I've heard alot of good things about the magnaflow systems as well and plenty of videos on youtube of what they sound like too.

For the record, RHD was taken into account with the design of the 42DD dumps, zero issues thus far on any I've sold.

the cheapest 3" turboback will be the megan one from ebay! $500 delivered to AUS!
the only thing u gotta do is get a exhuast shop to fit it and change the hangers coz its not 100% fit.. search up vortex.. theres nothing wrong with them.. its like buying a ebay 3" dump pipe.. same material!

so basically about 700 installed after taking it to a exhuast shop and have it re-do/fitted up well.

So I've just done a bit of enquiring as I'm almost at the stage to buy.

Tuffy Roseberry will do a full catback for 386 inc GST $132 to fit a downpipe at the same time. So that + a Megan Racing downpipe and we're only looking at about 650-700!!

Might be the go. Has anyone used the Megan Racing downpipe?
