    I found my Bora!

    Hey guys,

I had to unfortunately sell my Bora not long ago as a trade in and I have found it at a dealer in Sydney.

    http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars...s=3&__Qpb=true

Car just had all brakes done with EBC green stuff, has Optima D34M, cables from my stereo, fully dynamated etc. No idea who is selling it but seen it on carsales. Could be worth a look for someone who wants one.
Bora has gone ;( Custom sub box and beige floor mats to suit for sale.

    Yes and no.

Good buy I guess but the dealer really only offered me $10k trade then sold it to somewhere in Sydney so I guess they now have it.

Hot tip though - check the climate as it wasn't working to well before I traded it in But 3 year warranty

dont value the 3 yr wty if it's by harrier, like I got with mine. the std cover has $1k limit on claims, unless you upgrade to premium cover. even then its not really extended factory warranty.

Hey what's with the black strips on the tail lights? Did you decide to do with the S Class look? haha But I like it.. If only mine was black.

Ha yeah the tail lights are the result of a dollar well spent. It is only electrical tape.

Car looked way better with the sub box in, Sub + Amps + Box weighed in at just shy of 60kg. That not including the deadening or wires etc. No need to lower lol. All the cables are still in the car as well if someone want to run a nice little set up.

That sounds about right - ~60% of the retail list price (you have to remember they'll get bargained down at least a few thousand on that price yet if they want to move it). You'd have gotten more like $12k-$13k in a private sale I imagine. Considering my 2003 model with 90,000km on the clock was a bargain at $17k private sale just over six months ago, this is a good price from a dealer (dealer models were $22k or so when I bought). This is the effect of the GFC on car prices (used car prices particularly).

Yeah, it's definitely not factory warranty. It's probably dependent on having all the servicing done with them as well - as always, check the conditions before paying. And if you don't like the warranty conditions, ask them for more money off and drop it.
