    I didn't get a pen or an umbrella, but I got #189 :)

Well it's DBP Love it heaps, have had black and silver cars before so happy to have a colour!

Flew to Brisbane yesterday morning and drove back to Maitland. 800+kms in the rain! (Another joke there!!) Took the camera but there wasnt any point, was more suitable to just get home.

It's got 117k kms on it now. APR tuned, Haldex upgrade, Sachs competition clutch (it's heavy!! lol), 330x32 slotted rotors on the front, EBC Redstuffs (2 spare sets of hawk pads, one strictly for racing, th other a harsh street pad), OEM iPod kit (frustrating, the iPod kit and the 6 stack are both inputs to the head unit, Ie you can only use one or the other. My 5yo iPod is shanked, so have to get another one I think!) That's all I can think of atm....

Has gay arse smoked Hella tail lights, will get OEM ones back in there!

Sat on around 8.8l/100km on the way down. did about 300km on the half tank it had. Did the rest of the rip and got home with about 1/3rd of a tank. I'd say range is in the 6-700km mark which made me happy Fill up once a week now not twice!

It did have Pss9s on it previously and an APR exhaust (wish it had the bilsteins, not fussed on the APR, Milly all the way!)

Haven't really had a good drive of it yet so drive wise can't offer much.

A few scratches and scuffs on the body but nothing overly terrible, it's a 6yo car so to be expected. Few worn interior parts as well that need to be replaced. Just a few little things I'll work on to improve the overall presentation. Track guys usually don't worry too much about how a car looks!

2 of the wheels have brake pad residue etched into te finish from some really abrasive Hawk pads, so the Aristos will need to be redone....will get there.

All in all htough, very happy chappy.

Needs a good tub from yesterday and I'll post some photos up later.

Awesome! DBP is great! There are time where i wish i had that rather than BMP, such a bastard to keep clean! Plus that blue just looks badass.

Sounds great! What a bonus on having all of those mods done, i'd ask how much you paid but that'd be rude ahha.

117k hey, i just hit 140k the other day! 'swear i must have the highest kilometre .:R in australia ha!

Well it all sounds really bloody good, need some photos! congrats man you'll love it. won't be long and you'll be having bad thoughts in your mind about putting a turbo in it

Congrats on the purchase. Sounds like a great buy. Great to hear that another .:R has gone to a forum member and is in good hands. I can recommend pss9's. As for exhausts I have a milly waiting to go on mine! Milltek FTW! I will add you to the mk4 r32 registry. If you start a new thread on the car with pics, i will link that into the registry too.

Congrats! Great to see another Vwwatercooled member pick up an R32!!!! Drew I believe the highest km one has near on 200k on it sop you still have some enjoyable driving to go before you reach that mark...

You'll find your country driving range will be around the 600km mark. Your urban range however is a vastly different story lol All worth it in my opinion though because you're driving a rare beast that still turns heads

Which trim pieces are worn? Some can be brought back to live with a bit of TLC, some (like the gear boot surround) peel and cannot be fixed, only replaced. ECS tuning have plenty of R32 bits and pieces so get in while the exchange rate is good!

Mal, Trent still has a few MkIV R32 bits he was flogging but I s'pose you knew that since you were up that way to collect the car.

There was a little 987.2/Audi TT/TTS/S3/Jetta(!) drive up to Peats today, via OzAudi, so let me know if you want a reminder when the next one is set. I'd say it would be within the next fortnight if you're free on a Saturday arvo.
Bizi's Jetta TDI: Blue Graphite w. factory leather & tint, plus + Enkei Racing NT03+M + Yokohama S Drive 18s, Koni FSD, Neuspeed coils, GTI RSB + brakes, InPro mirrors, VW navi, Modshack. Come for a drive through the twisties on Saturdaze.

Congrats on the purchase mate. Enjoy the car. I don't think any of my bits and pieces would've helped you out.
Just remember if you're doing mods you don't need to go and reinvent the wheel as the VWVortex boys in the states have done everything and anything performance wise and Graeme86 has done all the cosmetic/coding fun things. Research research research.

    Cheers,
    Trent
