Sounds great! What a bonus on having all of those mods done, i'd ask how much you paid but that'd be rude ahha.

117k hey, i just hit 140k the other day! 'swear i must have the highest kilometre .:R in australia ha!

Well it all sounds really bloody good, need some photos! congrats man you'll love it. won't be long and you'll be having bad thoughts in your mind about putting a turbo in it
Thanks Drew, idea is to boost the VR6 so this should be relatively tame to enjoy for a while

I'll have photos up tomorrow I promise, think some came out pretty darn awesome today actually (as far as my "talent" is concerned)!

As for exhausts I have a milly waiting to go on mine! Milltek FTW! I will add you to the mk4 r32 registry. If you start a new thread on the car with pics, i will link that into the registry too.
Yeah add me to the registry Paul, not a problem.
Am tossing up between PSS9's, V2's and the VWR UK coilovers as far as suspension is concerned.

Really considered Blueflame (some hot videos on youtube!) but in the end the Milly is the better option.

Should have photos up tomorrow, will put in a new thread for you to link.

    Thanks again Paul.

You'll find your country driving range will be around the 600km mark. Your urban range however is a vastly different story lol All worth it in my opinion though because you're driving a rare beast that still turns heads

Which trim pieces are worn? Some can be brought back to live with a bit of TLC, some (like the gear boot surround) peel and cannot be fixed, only replaced. ECS tuning have plenty of R32 bits and pieces so get in while the exchange rate is good!
Thanks mate, still gotta get used to a new car, but it does turn a few heads already. Just needs to be louder! lol

Yeah got it in one with the gear boot surround etc, will source those from places like ECS over time. Still need blueslip + rego + plates to pay for in NSW so things are a while off yet!

Just remember if you're doing mods you don't need to go and reinvent the wheel as the VWVortex boys in the states have done everything and anything performance wise and Graeme86 has done all the cosmetic/coding fun things. Research research research.

    Cheers,
    Trent
Thanks big T. Always loved the standard you got your car too, will be working towards something like that (has a few track wounds atm etc).

As I said this should remain relatively simple for a reasonable amount of time.

But when it happens, osmething like this might be nice:
    Suspension detailed previously.
Cams (similar to Jimmy's maybe (SEXY R (BMP)) ??
Wheels: HRE 560R 19" or BBS LM 18" nto sure yet.....
    Exhaust: Milly non-res full system

Probably about it, just care and maintenance outside of that...

    Thanks Matt

Ahhm it was in QLD with QWR32Z plates which appear to be Euro ones (not entirely sure with the QLD format).

Congrats mate. Welcome to the world of mk4 ownership!

It really is great buying a car in brissy and breaking it in by driving it home. I did it with my previous 318iS. A great way to get aquainted...
